Ultra-violet digester UV-12M is designed for expressive (up to 10 sample simultaneously) sample pretreatment of water for series of laboratory measurements of elements by different methods, in particular, voltammetric in combination with the voltammetric sensor EM-04.

Ultra-violet digester UV-12M can also be used in sample pretreatment of clarified juice, soft drink, dry wine (sugar content to 6 %), as well as for sterilizing water in medical and biochemical research. The pretreatment is based on complete destruction of organic compounds in acidic medium by photochemical destruction under ultraviolet radiation and addition of chemical oxidant.
UV-12M for sample pretreatment of water provided constancy of temperature in quartz tube with the sample in process of irradiation, automatically switch off the UV lamp after a given time sample pretreatment. Built in sensor prevents overheating of the samples and loss of volatile elements.
