Technical Characteristics
Micro-processor polarograph AVS-1.1 provides all kinds of voltammetric measurements with the solid electrodes.
AVS-1.1 operates with three electrode electrochemical cell, conversion to two electrode electrochemical cell is possible with external commutation of electrodes.
The main mode of AVS-1.1 is alternating current square-wave stripping voltammetry.

AVS-1.1 consists of polarograph AVS-1.1 and personal computer (type IBM PC with the processor up to 486). Device connect with the computer using communication port COM1 - COM4 (choose the communication port in program settings). Polarograph AVS-1.1 is fully computer-operated instrument provided with extended special software. The windows type program is easy to operate. It allows automatic evaluation of results, to store data to the PC, curves and tables can be viewed on the screen and exported to other programs.

- Polarograph should be stored under normal operating conditions during 24 hours after transportation under freezing temperatures
- There must be no vaporous of acids, alkalis, oils, paints, gasoline and other agents which can affect to the work of the polarograph
- The following measuring techniques are available: direct current linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), differential impulse voltammetry (DIV). LSV and DIV techniques can be used for direct as well as for stripping voltammetry. The instrument provides the option of work with three electrode electrochemical cell, in particularly, with integrated cell "Module EM-04" with rotating disk electrodes which made of glassy carbon and gold.
